Shion Town is actually the Japanese name for Lavender Town. Eerie coincidence eh? Anyway, I decided to do it again, this time, Lavender Town's theme has been made much creepier. I re-orchestrated it in the style of Kenji Kawai; composer of the music for one of my favorite anime, Higurashi no naku Koro Ni. This one took me quite a bit more time than my previous one. The intro simulates what the town would probably sound like on a stormy night. Then I listened to several Higurashi soundtracks to determine which instruments to use. It wasn't easy, but I think the result was worth it. I hope you all enjoy. |
