I prefer the RBY version of this song, but this is the second best out off all the Pokemon League themes. I added a part as you can tell. The silence before I added it bothered me so much! I thought about removing it, but I just went with adding something.
Hi guys, here my 15th cover: Elite four battle from RSE! This song is in my opinion the best elite four battle theme, very epic! I love pokémon rse and his and summer atmosphere, can't wait for 3ds remakes!
Pokemon Gold & Silver Remix Album Track 23 - Goldenrod City Original Song Composers: Go Ichinose, Morikazu Aoki, Junichi Masuda, Hitomi Sato, Hiroko Takano Pokémon: Gold Silver & Crystal Versions
Good: I love the intro, the idea was to get it to sound substandard and to create an impact when the drums and bass come in, i think it worked really well
Bad: I could have done more arrangement wise, i just wasn't as creative as usual note wise, it becomes repetitive
Hi again, this is Rusty, trying for a third attempt to ruin Glitch's channel! Glitch is really busy preparing for her dreaded mid-terms, and playing BW2, so I thought I would upload and upload to help her out! Sootopolis City is really interesting, as it is a city, inside a dormant volcano, in the water--which is interesting. So, I decided to re-orchestrate it, and I'm really happy with the results. This is easily the best work I have uploaded here, so I hope all you folks will enjoy it!
Sorry, had to reupload this video after the last had too much reverb.
It's really summertime here and I've been cooking up in my apartment for a few days now trying to finish this piece. Kind of makes me wish I was CHILLIN' in space, haha! Except not really.
Because then I'd be dead.
Anyway, this is theme of the legendary Pokémon of time and space, Dialga and Palkia, from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. I was super excited when D/P came out for the DS in 2007 and played for three day non-stop. Afterward, I got kind of burnt out on the fact that the games just recycled the whole evil-team-seeks-legendary-Pokémon-to-fulfill-world-domination plot from Ruby/Sapphire, and I began to question whether or not I liked the direction the RPG series was taking (thankfully it got better, but I digress).
The original battle theme from these games captured Dialga/Palkia's reign over the chaotic, so that's what I sought to emphasize in this piece, using orchestral clusters, percussion, and some atonal effects to paint an eerie, unsettling sonic landscape. The beginning of my piece pays homage to composer Bernard Herrmann of Alfred Hitchock's films, who pioneered that "B Science Fiction movie" sound. The rest is influenced by Gustav Holst's "The Planets" with lots of yummy brass to herald the arrival of the PokéGods.
CONGRATS! YOU HAVE FINALLY DEFEATED WHITNEY AND HER ANNOYING MILTANK!!! :D
Hey guys! It's been a while since my last official collaboration, so I'm super excited to be posting this video. It's been such a wonderful experience collaborating with the super talented Pokenerds MaesterTed and 8BitBrigadier. Please check out their channels! They're budding YouTube VGM musicians like me! :)
I've been working on this one for a while! This is a revision of Deadautoturret's version of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=de7xrizzpeQ While you're at the video, check out his channel and see his other projects!
I found these pictures off of Google in case you are wondering. Remember to listen with headphones and try to enjoy it!
Download: http://www.mediafire.com/?ecmyd07v46dxx79 A medley of remixes, with the wild battle themes from RBY to RSE. You'll have to forgive some recycled instruments in this, I lost a lot of samples and besides, its been a year, I'm a bit rusty :) Oh, and I still owe you guys some fixed downloads. Working on it.
Sorry for the lack of activity recently, remixing has been the bottom of my priorities D: This is just kind of a warmup rather than a serious remix, my mastering skills are suddenly shocking haha. Give this one a chance to build up, btw.
So I decided to redo this one I could see it did need work thanks for the comments they helped, once again I recommend headphones for full awesomeosity.
